Saint Margaret of Scotland dedicated her life to serving the vulnerable and building a community rooted in peace, love, and dignity. Bearing her name, St. Margaret’s Family of Care has honored that legacy in New Orleans since 1931.

Our growth over the years has allowed us to serve more of our community than ever before — through skilled nursing at St. Margaret’s at Mercy and St. Jude’s, specialized ALS care at the Team Gleason House, and a full continuum of support services. That growth has never come at the cost of the personal, individualized care we’ve always provided. Every hearth room, dining space, and private bedroom is designed to feel like home — because we believe every person deserves to live with purpose and dignity, regardless of the care they need.
