Since 1889, St. Margaret’s Family of Care has built one of New Orleans’ most trusted legacies in senior health. What began as a single mission of service to vulnerable populations has grown into a comprehensive network of care — spanning skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation services, hospice partnerships, pharmacy, and a Foundation committed to meeting the needs of our elders for generations to come.

Inspired by Saint Margaret of Scotland
Our namesake, Saint Margaret of Scotland, inspired our founders with her tireless, compassionate service to vulnerable populations. Her acts of dedication and mercy became the living model for how we approach skilled nursing and therapeutic care in New Orleans.

Located in the heart of Downtown New Orleans, St. Jude's delivers expert skilled nursing and rehabilitation services with the personal, community-centered feel of our household model.

St. Luke's will soon expand the St. Margaret's Family of Care network to serve the Algiers community — bringing the same household model warmth and clinical excellence to West Bank seniors.
